The biggest most pervasive of the acai berry scams has been the Free Acai Berry Scams. The internet scam artists got hold of this sleazy idea and went crazy with it. Here is the bottom line – Free Offers are usually NOT FREE. They are usually nothing more than sleazy tricks to get your credit card number (supposedly for payment of shipping and handling) and then you start getting billed for monthly automatic shipments of products you did not knowingly order and did not expect.

The bottom line is to avoid so-called free offers. They are not free and they are almost impossible to cancel. And if you used a debit card instead of a credit card, undoing the ensuing mess with be even more difficult and will probably result in you having to close your checking account and then opening a new account in order to get a new account number. This one really makes us crazy. There are thousands of websites (and there have been radio commercials too) that in substance say that acai berry is a magic weight loss substance. This is nonsense and there is no science to back up these silly claims. The websites making these fraudulent claims are outright lying and misleading people.
The biggest "acai scam" is the weight loss claims combined with the free offer trial. This acai scam is usually goes hand in hand, as you have probably seen by now.
Sorry folks, there are no magic potions or pills that quickly make the extra pounds vanish. There are no magic weight loss pills, including acai, and anyone that states otherwise is a liar and a fraud.
